I've been employed as a church organist/choirmaster since age 15, first job at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church in Beacon, NY. I received my musical education at the Eastman School of Music, Rochester, NY, studying organ with Norman Peterson, piano with Harry Weiss, CHurch Music/Choral Conducting with M. Alfred Bichsel and musicology with Charles Warren Fox. Since 1982 I have been the O/CD at Calvary Episcopal, Flemington, NJ and was the chair of the music department of Princeton Day School from 1967 - 2000. Currently I also accompany (piano) in several school districts, play harpsichord with the Bar Harbor Music Festival String Orchestra both in Bar Harbor, ME and the greater NY area. I am available as an organist to play weekday and Saturday services, orchestral performances of oratorios, weddings and funerals. As a harpsichordist I love doing continuo and chamber jobs and I am available as a pianist to play for musicals and coach singers. My harpsichord is a recently built 1 manual Flemish design from the workshop of Robert Wilson (Lambertville NJ.) I can transport it to wherever I am needed. |
