I am a Lutheran pastor ordained in 1998 who also holds a degree in music from the College of New Jersey where I studied organ with the late Albert Ludecke, a former organist/choirmaster of Trinity Episcopal Cathedral, Trenton, NJ. Prior to being ordained, I held the post of organist/music director of Saint Mark Lutheran Church, Hamilton, NJ from 1991-1998 where I played the organ for all services and directed the chancel choir, junior choir, and hand-bell choir. Though no longer able to be on the organ bench every Sunday due to my pastoral duties, I continue to teach, compose, and play recitals. I have also taught workshops on liturgical music, service playing, and improvisation. I have an affinity for Bach and Baroque organ music in general as well as 19th and 20th Century British composers. However, I love and play organ works from all periods. I also play piano and harpsichord. Currently, I am serving as pastor of a Lutheran congregation in Connecticut. |
