I trained as a first study organist at the Birmingham Conservatoire with George Miles and John Bishop. I taught organ and piano at Wells Cathedral School between 1981 and 1987, where I acted also as accompanist for concerts, recitals, examinations and auditions, in addition to playing the organ for school services in the cathedral each week.

Qualifications: GBSM; ABSM (organ teaching); LTCL (organ performing); PGCE.

I enjoy my work as a parish priest and this work keeps me fairly busy, but I still find time for some playing.

Music continues to play a large part in my life. I have a fine grand piano and a digital organ in my house, as well as access to various church organs in the area.

In the past I have served as Diocesan Organ Adviser for the Anglican Dioceses of Sheffield and Exeter.
